Tibet Vista Tour Review: Danish Guests' Journey from Lhasa to Mount Everest
June 03, 2025
“Walking up to the top of Potala Palace, that was...that was bloody hard. Not that hard, but so hard.”
“I thought I was in medium shape but it’s...it took something. Had to do something with my shape when I come back.”
“But honestly it’s a beautiful place. Really really amazing, an amazing building. I try to show you a little bit around.”
“All well, right? And the blue sky. Can't be more beautiful than that. End up here.”
“Finally being here, sitting at the foot of Mount Everest, the base camp, it's a beautiful sight. Really beautiful sight. It was really also on my bucket list to come here.”
“I must say, it's everything that I've dreamt of. I feel blessed that I'm here among a few people in the world, even though it’s been visited by so many people every day.”
“But still, I'm one of them. Really one of them. It's amazing to see these tall, tall mountains.”
“When I look around, I see so many mountains, which is more than 8km high. Be at high altitude of 5km. It’s hard for me to understand.”
“From flat Denmark with a highest point of 172 meters above sea level. When I go skiing in the Alps, it might be skiing in a three kilometers height, and that's it.”
“But here, in the back of me, I'm just sitting, looking at something. It hardly can get into my mind to understand that this is 8km. And I'm 5.2 kilometers above sea level.”
“Wow. This is so amazing. So, I'm grateful to be here. I'm grateful to be looking at mother nature still rules the world. And it’s nice to see.”
“I have to experience. So thank you from here. And I love to be here. Thank you. Bye.”
